The VE Day celebrations saw Prince George dressed in a sharp navy suit, embodying a young royal poised for the future. His younger brother, Prince Louis, took part in the celebrations too. You may well have seen it, but throughout the day Prince William kept a protective arm/eye to keep Prince George in view! The young prince had no intention of being just a ceremonial figurehead. He encouraged his father to witness the historic flypast – making sure that Prince William wouldn’t miss a major highlight of the occasion.
