Fifty-four-year-old Michigander teacher Dave Liskov of Go base provides discipline stimulates inside of the penalty impatience and impatience as possible. He admitted to sending unwanted, unsolicited sexual messages – including graphic sexual content – to at least four former colleagues. The recent professional and educational misconduct demonstrated by some school leaders requires scrutiny.
Caron, who has been in the classroom for the last 10 years, allegedly harassed his old colleagues with a barrage of unwelcomed social media posts. Sending explicit photos to two female coworkers—not very surprising. That’s just mind-boggling. On a side note, he offered a third colleague a “foursome.” The messages he sent on top of that to the same colleague were even worse, cranking up the threat level.
In his own defense, Caron claimed he sent some of the messages accidentally. He even claimed responsibility for his behavior due to “overindulgence in booze.” He admitted many of those texts were sent when he was drunk, or more likely hungover.
“If I could change these events, I would in a heartbeat.” – Samuel Caron
Colleague A was one of those who received the messages and referred to Caron as “like, the nicest dude. They told us that the indecent messages seemed totally “not like him.” This academic comment illustrates the sense of amazement and sadness for those that knew him in a professional capacity.
Caron said he deeply regretted his actions, telling his victims, “I am truly sorry to those I have harmed. He referred to one of the crude pics as a “pocket dial.” That means he didn’t intend to send it. In a last-ditch appeal to one of his compatriots, he allegedly cried “don’t call the cops, dude!
The situation has sparked conversations about the duties and limits that should be sought and respected from educators. As schools strive to maintain a safe environment for both students and staff, such behavior can undermine trust within the community.
Caron’s admissions also lay bare his state of mind in those crucial seconds. These factors don’t absolve his actions, of course, but they provide background for his behavior. He later confessed that he was “so drunk” when texting the messages. This admission has led to extensive debate in the Comment section on the case.
As the story continues to unfold, what this means for Caron’s career and for his future as a teacher are still not clear. With a decade of service at St. Patrick’s RC Primary, this incident could mark a significant turning point in his professional life.
