Ryan Reynolds Teams Up with Tim Hortons for New Breakfast Boxes

It’s a big day at Tim Hortons as they announce an amazing new TimsTreats partnership with global superstar Ryan Reynolds! They’re launching a new breakfast menu item specifically aimed at luring his followers! The collaboration features a breakfast box that includes bacon or sausage, two scrambled eggs, hash browns, and a zesty chipotle sauce. This pilot project would be a welcome advancement in Tim Hortons’ efforts to reach more people.

Reynolds, known for his humor and charisma, partnered with Hope Bagozzi, the Chief Marketing Officer of Tim Hortons. From there, they collaborated further to perfect their new menu addition. Together, they set out to develop a breakfast product worthy of the lunch Reynolds shares with his family back home in the business.

After seeing the concept for the accompanying advertisement, and the resulting production featuring breakfast boxes, Reynolds proved to have a voracious appetite for the boxes themselves. Our chef at Tim Hortons went into a state of panic from all the excess excitement. During production, she found herself overwhelmed trying to meet the extreme demand. The ads showcase Reynolds and an assistant fulfilling his eccentric rider, which included requests for a left-handed cane, a jigsaw puzzle missing just one piece, and a newspaper with all references to birds redacted.

Bagozzi expressed her delight in working with Reynolds on this project, stating, “The room went bananas, like, it erupted.” She emphasized the value of the partnership, proclaiming, “It’s worth every dollar, every bit of Vancouver air.”

The collaboration goes far beyond these themed morning meal packs. We’re looking forward to announcing a second phase in the coming months. Tim Hortons had hinted at further partnerships with Reynolds after airing a “Deadpool” commercial with him last July. Franchisees were kept in the dark about specifics leading up to the announcement. Indeed, they pulled it off without us ever learning; their stealthy partnership turned out to be.

In a playful video sent to franchisees prior to the official launch, Reynolds was positively giddy. He humorously dubbed himself “thrilledCamelot,” an indication of his excitement to be part of the collaboration.

Reynolds reiterated his commitment to the partnership in a press release, saying, “When I visited the Tim Hortons Test Kitchen, I took my role very seriously, by which I mean I ate an irresponsible amount of eggs. And honestly? I regret nothing.”

This partnership is playing off of Ryan Reynolds’ tremendous star power. The campaign seeks to drive in new customers to Tim Hortons through his distinctive brand voice. Fans are already counting the days until these breakfast boxes hit stores! Reynolds and Tim Hortons are looking forward to their new partnership, which sports a perfect mix of food entertainment with a side of celebrity magic.
