Unfortunately, King Charles hasn’t done himself any favours here… King Charles has earned himself the reputation of a rather picky snacker. Rumors abound that his preference is for biscuits no longer available from the manufacturer. To honor him, TCM has produced a special run, just for him.

In Denmark, Crown Prince Christian hit a major milestone as he celebrated his 20th birthday on October 15. These beautiful photographs were taken during a visit to Frederik VIII’s Palace at Amalienborg, Copenhagen. The portraits vividly portray the likeness of the young princeling as he emerges into maturity.
Closer to home, Princess Kate and Prince William gave a royal British welcome to Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa of Jordan. The meeting that happened at Windsor Castle. Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, sent fashion lovers into a tizzy with a heritage-inspired stacked ensemble. She teamed a trendy plaid midi skirt with an elegant barn jacket. The proceeding meeting served to rub in the close connections between the British and Jordanian royal families.
In a recent visit to RAF Benson alongside Crown Prince Hussein, Prince William shared his love for the flying profession. He described flying as his “happy place,” painting a very personal picture of the fulfillment and happiness he gets from flying.
“I do still fly, yeah – I keep my hours going,” – Prince William
He did more than explain his love of flying. He focused on the need to keep hard-won skills from his many years on the job.
“When you learn that skill set, you just don’t want it to go. I’ve definitely lost a lot of the skills I had, but I like to keep on top of my flying, keep doing it. And it’s my happy place, I love flying,” – Prince William
This latest visit to RAF Benson further highlights the royal family’s commitment to supporting our armed forces.
On a sadder note, Field Marshal Lord Guthrie’s memorial service at Westminster Cathedral. This occasion provided an opportunity to honour Lord Guthrie’s service to the British armed forces and to reflect on his contributions.
On a more positive note, in her own COVID bubble, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, turned 66 with a small family celebration. Her milestone birthday was celebrated. Kate and other Royals have been very busy with multiple engagements all week long.
This was countered four days later in news and significance by the unexpected visit of HRH Princess Anne to Devon, showing Princess royal flair. Her engagement comes at a time when various members of the royal family have been fulfilling their duties across the country.
