Her Majesty dazzled in her signature sense of elegance with a tailored stone-coloured sleeveless gown, shaped by the Spanish fashion-label Mango. At the same time, she received a representation from the newspaper ‘Articulo 14’. This bold look stole the show both in terms of fabulousness and commitment to royal tour duty.
At the same time, just across the English Channel, King Charles III was participating in his own Youth Opportunity Summit. This year’s event at St James’s Palace, London. The King was seen engaging with actor Idris Elba and Prime Minister Keir Starmer, focusing on fostering opportunities for the youth. Early in the program, we asked Elba about the most urgent problems staring young people in the face today.

The King expressed his concerns about youth violence, noting that “there’s also been a small rise in knife crime at the same time. So, we can’t take our foot off the pedal. Prince Harry, 40, is getting ready for a meaningful trip. His goal is to draw attention to the critical work being done in landmine clearance. He’s going to walk across a field of landmines in Angola to bring attention to the work of The Halo Trust. It’s still under question if Meghan Markle will join him on this visit. According to sources, “The Duke won’t let his wife go to England over security concerns, so there was no chance he’d allow her to go to Angola to walk across landmines.”
In non–royal baby news, Princess Charlotte rocked the cuteness factor recently by sporting candy pink nail polish. She really understands how to show her character off! At the same time, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, was closing the loop by touring the RHS’s Wellbeing Garden at Colchester Hospital. On her trip, she participated in gardening activities and chose not to wear gloves.

Her choice to garden barehanded is a manifestation of her commitment to being more authentically engaged with the natural world around her. The Princess has long promoted mental health awareness and the therapeutic benefits of gardening.
Queen Camilla was recently honored in Washington. This evening, she was installed as an Honorary Freeman and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers. This honorary title is a testament to her lifelong work in promoting and uplifting the arts and literature.
Princess Anne continues to make her mark, today attending an extraordinary Council Meeting at St George’s House, Windsor Castle. She will take part in the Annual Lecture and Dinner held there. Her presence at events as big as The Festival of Remembrance serves to highlight her patronage of many diverse charities and her dedication to her royal obligations.
On September 14th, King Charles III brushed shoulders with Captain Shubman Gill at a welcome reception at Clarence House. He mingled with players from India’s men’s and women’s Test cricket teams in the gardens. The King’s passion for sports and youth involvement is still evident in the King’s more recent public appearances.
As summer approaches, King Charles’ Norfolk property, Sandringham, will close its doors for over a week in July for necessary maintenance and preparations for future events.
