Compounding these issues, Nova Scotia has discontinued its local food strategy, which has sparked concerns regarding the production and accessibility of healthy food options. Pulling back on this strategy would greatly undermine our work to build more vibrant local food systems. These systems are critical for the long-term health and vibrancy of our communities.
