Rachel McAdams Receives Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Actress and NASCAR owner Rachel McAdams with her newly unveiled star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The award ceremony is scheduled for January 20, 2026, in Hollywood, California. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce recognized McAdams for her outstanding contributions to the film industry. This CEW advisory board recognition represents a new and exciting milestone during her impressive career.

At the ceremony, McAdams paid tribute to multiple deceased co-stars. Yet, their impact on her life and career was nothing short of amazing. In particular, she paid tribute to Diane Keaton, with whom she starred in the 2005 film “The Family Stone.” McAdams expressed her gratitude for Keaton’s mentorship, stating, “The legendary working actors who I was given the great gift to learn from… my beloved Diane Keaton, who took me under her wing like I was her own daughter.”

Once again, emotions coursed through McAdams as she thought about how far she’d come. What she really enjoyed were the United States ambassadors, including their parents—who were beamingly in attendance, representing their support. She wished she could “freeze that time for a moment” to pay tribute to them. And that’s all thanks to you,” she proclaimed. You blessed us with an abundance of love and a magical childhood. For trusting that I would one day be able to believe in myself. I love you so much. Thank you.”

Her moving acceptance speech featured her recollections of the advice Keaton once gave her about acting. “She taught me that no matter how long you’ve been doing this, you have to leave everything you’ve got on the table,” McAdams remarked. She stressed the importance of infusing love into every performance. She explained, “You need to produce as much love as possible for each show, and if you do, you’ll only be looking like a fool half the time on this planet.”

Her co-star Domhnall Gleeson described her as “a phenomenal actor.” Also present was Dylan O’Brien, who will appear with McAdams in the forthcoming movie “Send Help.” Sam Raimi, director of yet another upcoming project starring McAdams, was in attendance at her ceremony.

Rachel McAdams is known for her roles in films such as “Mean Girls,” “Spotlight,” and “The Notebook.” In these films, she worked alongside such legends as Gena Rowlands and Sam Shepard. Her truly inspirational career has made her an Academy Award nominee, proving that she is one of Hollywood’s foremost actresses.
