PSG Dominates Real Madrid to Secure Spot in FIFA Club World Cup Final

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) pulled off one of the most electrifying matches in any sport on Friday. They absolutely destroyed Real Madrid 4-0 in the finals of the FIFA Club World Cup. They earned an emphatic victory that assured their place in the title match. They knocked the Spanish supergiants and Kylian Mbappe’s PSG out of the competition.

PSG will go on to meet Chelsea in the final on Sunday. They will be looking to make it back-to-back successes, having just won their first European title. The match showcased PSG’s attacking prowess, with key players stepping up to contribute significantly.

Fabian Ruiz scored 1 st goal in the 12th minute, leading PSG to an eventual 3 – 0 victory. His impact didn’t stop there. He doubled his tally just moments later, pouncing on the end of a well-timed give-and-go involving Achraf Hakimi and Ousmane Dembele. Hakimi’s wonderful cross put Ruiz through one-on-one and with three touches Ruiz doubled the lead in the 24th minute.

Ousmane Dembele was brilliant throughout the match. He not only scored the insurance second goal, but assisted on what became the game-winner, making a clear case for his importance. He put Real Madrid’s defensive mistakes to the sword with clinical edge. In particular, he took aim at defender Antonio Rudiger and in doing so doubled PSG’s lead.

PSG kept up their rampage, running up a staggering 76.5 percent possession in the first half hour alone. Gianluigi Donnarumma was the star of the match, making two stops to secure his side’s clean sheet.

As the match approached its conclusion, Goncalo Ramos, who came off the bench, added to the scoreline with a goal in the 87th minute. This late boost sealed a decisive victory for PSG, as the tournament favorites instituted their dominance.
