Princess Sofia, the eighth in line to the Swedish throne, has unexpectedly withdrawn from a major royal event, causing speculation regarding her decision. The palace confirmed the news, stating, “The Office of the Marshal of the Realm is pleased to announce that HRH Princess Sofia, on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 1:10 p.m., gave birth to a healthy and prosperous daughter at Danderyd Hospital.” Speaking of new arrivals, the royal family just got bigger too. This new footing on danger will likely have a huge impact on her decision to cut back her public appearances.
Although she is a member of the royal family, Princess Sofia has no HRH title. Then, in 2019, King Carl XVI Gustaf took a historic step. Specifically, he decided not to give the royal title to the children of Prince Carl Philip and Princess Madeleine. In 2004, she simultaneously became a member of the cast of reality television series Paradise Hotel.
Outside of her official pursuits, Princess Sofia has made a statement about her uniqueness with some body art. She has a sun tattoo across her shoulders, a butterfly on her ribcage, and a small ankle tattoo. Together, these tattoos represent Keena’s personal aesthetic and more importantly, what it means to be beautiful in her own right.
