Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden have confirmed the names of the five individuals selected to be the godparents of their daughter, Princess Ines. The only thing is that it’s announced just in advance of the baby’s christening. This unique event will take place in the Drottningholm Palace Chapel, located only a short 30-minute drive outside Stockholm. She became eighth-in-line to the Swedish throne, after her three brothers, when she was born on February 7.
The next ceremony promises to be the most high-profile yet. Key members of the Swedish royal family will be in attendance, which makes it even more thrilling! Notably, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia will likely be present to support the young princess and her family.
A Glimpse into Princess Sofia’s Life
Before taking on her royal duties, H.R.H Princess Sofia had a reputation for her work as a model in her early twenties.
