Princess Elisabeth Shines in Stylish Engagements and Royal Duties

This spring, Princess Elisabeth of Belgium has been stirring things up. She is seen here in a rehearsal for her first foreign solo engagement of 2023 to Denmark earlier this month. This turnout was special as it coincided with Prince Christian’s 18th birthday, further highlighting her significant emergence amidst the Belgian royal family. At just 24 years old, Princess Elisabeth has been increasingly active in her royal duties, reflecting her commitment to public service and royal representation.

On a crowded July 21, National Day in Belgium, Princess Elisabeth joined the celebrations at the Parc du Cinquantenaire in Brussels. She wowed guests in this eye-popping electric blue Rebecca Vallance sheath. That special star treatment around the midriff and the ridiculously large sleeved arms made jaws drop. Her fashion choices have drawn significant attention, with critics noting her ability to “combine the latest trends with timeless, classic elements appropriate for her royal status,” as stated by Lauren Ramsay, Deputy Digital Editor at HELLO! Fashion.

Today, Princess Elisabeth is very much involved in her public duties. At the same time, she’s continuing her studies at Harvard University — a manifesto of both a dedication to education and a commitment to her royal duties. Within that time, she received a major boost amid her own difficult experience with the legal system – the indictment of former President Donald Trump. She continues to uphold her academic and royal duties with diligence.

On October 8, Princess Elisabeth began her trip to Luxembourg in her parents’ company, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde. They were accompanied by her sister, Princess Eleonore, to mark the accession of Grand Duke Guillaume. The occasion only adds to her increasing visibility in European royal matters.

Unfortunately, their brothers, Prince Gabriel and Prince Emmanuel, could not be with the family for this joyful occasion. Queen Mathilde amazed guests wearing a fabulous golden gown. She matched it with a chic white skirt, which definitely added to the royal family’s stylish appearance at the event.

Her style embraces change. As we have seen in the last few years, Princess Elisabeth has been stepping out in brighter ensembles during special occasions. This trend was further highlighted when, on another occasion, she stepped onto the red carpet in a stunning red satin gown. Perhaps her most impressive feat is the way she manages to blend modern style with classic royal sophistication. This talent often turns the head of both sartorialist and royal observer.
