Catherine, Princess of Wales, attended the thirteenth day of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships on July 12, 2025, at the prestigious All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London. Swiatek won the match without losing a game, 6-0, 6-0, finishing in only 57 minutes. Shortly after the match Princess Catherine, as generally expected, offered her consolation to Anisimova, and consoled the defeated finalist.
Following Swiatek’s impressive win, Princess Catherine presented the winner’s trophy to the Polish champion. For a few minutes, the two exchanged emotional words while Swiatek’s supporters nearby celebrated her historic win. The ambiance in the royal box was further enriched by the presence of legendary tennis player Billie Jean King, who sat alongside Princess Catherine during this thrilling match.
