This past weekend, Princess Ariane of the Netherlands marked a major milestone. Her graduation from high school and entrance into adulthood was marked by her great pride. Princess Ariane just became a legal adult this past April. Tears of pride filled her eyes as Princess Ariane basked in the moment with diploma in hand. She certainly did, rocking a gorgeous magenta number from Italian label TwinSet, with capped sleeves and a sweeping, asymmetrical skirt. Her proud parents, Queen Máxima and King Willem-Alexander were on hand to celebrate this momentous occasion with her. While they took pride in her academic accomplishments, they welcomed their daughter’s new independence.
The joyful graduation ceremony closed the exam period Princess Ariane was going through. She has passed all the International Baccalaureate exams with flying colors. We look forward to those results, due early in the month of July.
Queen Máxima, dressed in a vibrant mustard yellow dress adorned with white flowers, stood beside her daughter, showcasing a rare moment of togetherness. King Willem-Alexander wrapped his arm around Princess Ariane’s shoulder, creating an intimate family portrait as they posed outside the school grounds.

This graduation ceremony is not only a remarkable step in Princess Ariane’s academic journey, but is a culmination of her educational experience overseas. As for the rest of us, we just stood by as proud parents do, as their child steps boldly into this next big chapter!
