The Duke and Duchess tried locally produced groceries like cider and gin from stalls at the market. Prince William particularly enjoyed a selection from Healeys Cyder Farm, expressing his delight as he stated, “Look at the Rattler selection, ah definitely I’m happy about that.” His enthusiasm for local products was evident as he jokingly remarked about Duchess Sophie finishing her drink, saying, “You’re not allowed to finish it. You’ve got to watch her.”
From start to finish, event-goers enjoyed the duo’s playful friendship and banter. At one point, Prince William turned down a zero percent drink option with a cheerful “Oh no, no, no. I need original. Someone bring out the big guns.” He humorously reflected on past experiences, admitting, “I’ve been caught out with whisky a few too many times. I think I can do that and then oh no I couldn’t.”
Their visit featured a walk through the livestock barn, where they welcomed baby pigs and cows. During their interactions, Prince William shared a light-hearted moment with a sleeping pig, leading to Duchess Sophie quipping, “You’re not a pig. I don’t care what they say, you’re not a pig.”

Prince William remarked on the day’s progression by saying, “We’ve come from the chutneys straight into booze.
