Bobby Nash on the blockbuster drama “9-1-1.” He took to Twitter recently to extol the virtues of his character’s surprising death. After eight unforgettable seasons of calamities and cliffhangers, Nash was killed in the season finale. This emotional scene played out in the episode, called “Lab Rats.” This sudden turn took fans by surprise and became one of the most pivotal scenes in the show’s entire narrative.
Krause expressed his gratitude for the years spent on “9-1-1,” stating, “It’s been a fantastic eight years. I’m going to miss her a lot,” referring to Angela Bassett, who plays his on-screen wife, police Sgt. Athena Grant. In heartfelt tones, the actor described how much he will miss Bassett. He expressed gratitude for the full cast and crew, with many of whom he’d established long creative partnerships with throughout the years.

Reflecting on Nash’s final moments, Krause noted, “It would come as no surprise to the viewing audience that Bobby chooses to save Chimney and stoically contains himself in the lab.” This move further reflected Nash’s dedication to his teammates and, in turn, established his legacy as an altruistic captain at Station 118.
The actor confessed that he doesn’t expect to ever have another friendship in real life like Nash has with Athena. He remarked, “I won’t have a relationship like that again on TV,” emphasizing the unique bond their characters developed over the years.
In an interview with “Good Morning America,” Krause opened up about the emotional burden of his character’s death. He insisted that it needed to hit home, in a way that’s breath-taking. He stated, “He was willing to sacrifice himself so that others could see another day. And I will miss everybody dearly.”
