Nottingham Forest Stuns Liverpool Again as Manchester City Falters in Thrilling Weekend

Nottingham Forest emerged victorious against Liverpool once more, in a captivating Premier League clash that saw the Reds held to a draw. The match, which took place at Anfield in September, marked Forest as the only team to defeat Liverpool in the league this season. Meanwhile, West Ham United moved ten points clear of the relegation zone with a crucial victory over Fulham. Graham Potter celebrated his first win as West Ham manager with a 3-2 triumph over Fulham, bolstering the team's morale.

Manchester City, however, faced a challenging weekend, conceding two late goals in a loss to Manchester United. The reigning champions also squandered a three-goal lead in a dramatic 3-3 draw against Feyenoord in the Champions League. City's defensive lapses occurred in the 82nd minute and again two minutes into stoppage time, overshadowing Phil Foden's impressive performance with two goals.

Liverpool, despite dominating possession and creating numerous chances, could not overcome Forest. Diogo Jota's header from a corner in the 66th minute salvaged a point for Liverpool, maintaining their six-point advantage over Forest. Nottingham Forest's remarkable performance propelled them to second place, fueling their unexpected campaign for a Champions League spot.

In another exciting match, Chelsea managed to secure a 2-2 draw against Bournemouth at home. Cole Palmer opened the scoring for Chelsea with his 14th goal of the season in the 13th minute. Bournemouth responded with Antoine Semenyo winning a penalty, converted by Justin Kluivert, and later smashing home a rising finish in the 68th minute. Reece James's free kick in the fifth minute of stoppage time ensured Chelsea stayed in fourth place, at least temporarily, until Newcastle's match on Wednesday.

West Ham's victory over Fulham saw Alex Iwobi netting twice for Fulham, bringing the score to 2-1 and then 3-2. Despite Iwobi's efforts, Fulham's winless streak extended to five league games following their draw with Chelsea. Yoane Wissa and Christian Norgaard scored for Brentford, leaving Manchester City struggling in sixth place.
