Saltbrook Primary Academy is set to open in Sawtry in the coming months. This new school is helping to address a tremendous demand in the community for new school facilities. The collaborative nature of the project will help establish a holistic educational ecosystem. It is anchored by a new one-form entry school for 210 pupils and an early years facility with space for up to 52 children.

The construction will take place in two separate phases. The first stage of development will be building the one-form entry school, integrated with the early years provision. We’re happy to report that the community is booming and growing! During the second phase we’ll expand the academy into a two-form entry, creating space for up to 420 children.
Saltbrook Primary Academy will initially open to reception year applications only. This step-by-step approach allows the school to gradually accept new students. As each cohort progresses through their educational experience, the school continues to change with them. The thoughtful design of the academy aligns with the pledge to deliver world-class education on the doorstep for families in Sawtry.
