Bachelor Nation fans, this one’s for you! ABC’s exciting new season of “Bachelor in Paradise” starts this Monday at 8 p.m. ET. Season 10 is filled with new and exciting chances—with sails full of wind—to find love! Returning cast members will get a chance at a second and/or third shot at love. This year, the breathtaking beauty of Costa Rica is the perfect backdrop for forming new connections and exploring raw emotional paths.
The hilarity opened up all the way back in June! The first wave of cast members was announced, including several heavy-hitters from earlier seasons. Alexe-Anne “Alexe” Godin from season 29 of ABC’s “The Bachelor” competes in the cast. She’ll be joined in conversation by Dale Moss from “The Bachelorette” Season 16 and Jessica “Jess” Edwards from “The Bachelor” Season 28. Kathy Swarts, Leslie Fhima, and Natascha Hardee from “The Golden Bachelor” Season 1 will kick off the fun. They’ll be accompanied by Charles “CK” King, Keith Gordon, and Kim Buike from the inaugural season of “The Golden Bachelorette.”
A New Dynamic with Compatibility Tests
This season features brand new compatibility tests meant to energize the vibes and guide contestants to discover more profound connections. Even host Jesse Palmer seemed genuinely excited about these new features, saying
“There’s some challenges that play throughout the season that really raises the stakes for our cast.” – Jesse Palmer
These creative challenges put a fun spin on the classic dating format. They challenge contestants to meet one another in deeper, richer, more holistic ways. Palmer explained that collective environments will be more important this season than in previous versions of the show.
“It was a lot of fun for me to have our cast in more group settings more often than anything we’ve done in the past. I thought it created some drama, but I think it also really helped them get to know each other better.” – Jesse Palmer
Support from Seasoned Contestants
On top of these unique cast dynamics, former contestant Rachel Brown will provide mentorship over the course of the season. Brown’s presence is intended to help participants make their way through their romantic journeys.
“to help give advice and just help [cast members] on their journey in any way possible,” – Hannah Brown
Her time spent in the spotlight as a contestant herself should prove invaluable to future contestants looking to navigate exciting new relationships. The powerful support network created by those who have come before them reinforces the sense of collaboration that runs through this greatly adored series.
