Congratulations are in order for Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi on becoming parents. The couple welcomed a baby girl through adoption. The now parents-to-be revealed the happy news in a joint Instagram post. That’s a big deal in this long journey they’ve taken together.

Millie Bobby Brown, well-known for her role in “Stranger Things,” was recently married. She and Jake Bongiovi, son of musician Jon Bon Jovi, marked their love with a secret wedding ceremony in late May 2024. They cemented their union with a second wedding ceremony in Tuscany later that year in September.
Brown has often publicly discussed her wish to be a mom. She discussed her thoughts on adoption during an appearance on the “Smartless” podcast, stating, “I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different as in adopting.” She highlighted the importance of love and openness in her home, saying, “For me, like, my home is full of love for anyone and anything, and so that is what we stand by, Jake and I — our energy in the house is like, ‘The door is always open.’”
Having both grown up in large families, Brown and Bongiovi’s experience may have played a role in their choice to have a big family themselves. Brown is the only child of four siblings, while his set of quartet siblings comes from Bongiovi as well. This background has bestowed upon them a deep respect for the values of family.
Reflecting on her upbringing, Brown shared, “My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. You know, it’s been my thing since before I met Jake.” Always a devoted mother, since childhood she dreamed of one day becoming a mother. She envisioned herself as the kind of mom her mother had been. “Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me,” she added.
The new couple has made clear their desire to grow an ambitious family and provide a warm and tender upbringing for their young daughter. They embark on this fresh adventure side by side with fierce loyalty. They often take to social media to proclaim their love, posting pictures and signing off with “forever and always.”
