Tragically, Meghan's beloved rescue dog, Guy, passed away over Christmas. Guy's story of resilience is highlighted in her Netflix series. He suffered a severe accident that required surgeries for months, yet defied medical odds to walk again.
"He endured a terrible accident shortly before I moved to the UK which had him undergoing surgeries for several months and unable to leave the clinic. Doctors said he would never walk again, but Dr Noel Fitzpatrick said he could do it."
Meghan and Prince Harry frequently visited Guy during his recovery in Surrey, demonstrating their devotion to his well-being. Her heartfelt connection to her pets is evident as Mamma Mia can often be seen by her side while she starts her day.
