Mbappe Shines as Real Madrid Dominates Valencia in 4-0 Victory

Kylian Mbappe continued his exceptional form, scoring twice as Real Madrid secured a resounding 4-0 victory over Valencia at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. On Saturday, Real Madrid cruised to a comfortable victory that cemented their place atop La Liga. With this victory, they made that unbeaten streak run to 30 points, stretching their advantage to seven points ahead of Villarreal and eight ahead of Barcelona.

In the 19th minute, the match turned in a huge way. An obvious VAR check produced a clear handball by Valencia’s Cesar Tarrega. As a consequence of the foul, Real Madrid were awarded a penalty. Mbappe finished it coolly, notching up his 12th La Liga goal of the season. Only 12 minutes later, he had a second. This one, he gleefully volleyed home from close range after a well-practiced routine, beginning with Jude Bellingham’s optimal through ball to Arda Guler. ✔️ Guler’s pinpoint cross found Mbappe at the far post, who finished with style.

Mbappe’s performance highlighted his remarkable scoring ability, as he has now netted 13 goals in just 11 La Liga matches this season and 18 goals across all competitions.

Jude Bellingham’s scintillating debut set the stage for the greatest introduction to the world. He then made sure to notch a sublime low shot from the edge of the box, extending the lead to 3-0 just before halftime. Alvaro Carreras added a fourth in the 82nd minute, finding the bottom corner with an impressive angled shot. This beautiful goal rounded out their commanding performance.

Real Madrid had a very nice lead and then just slowed down the whole game in the second half. They were looking to conserve themselves for their huge Champions League battle against Liverpool on Tuesday. Valencia has seen difficult days in recent years. Having failed to win any of their last half-dozen league encounters, they have been plunged into the battle to stay up.

“Mbappe is spectacular. We have to enjoy him. May he continue scoring for Madrid, for himself, for his history. He still has a lot left to achieve, and I have no doubt he will. He is one of the best in the world,” – Federico Valverde
