Massive Olive Oil Heist Leaves Transport Company Reeling

Over $1 million worth of olive oil vanished earlier this week under mysterious circumstances, leaving Transport Q-Trans, a Montreal-based transport company, grappling with the fallout. The olive oil, intended for an Ontario client, disappeared after being handed over to a second company for delivery. Montreal police are now investigating the second company for possible involvement in the theft.

The stolen olive oil, stored in special heated trailers, was initially managed by Transport Q-Trans under a contractual agreement to deliver the product. The company had transferred responsibility to another transport firm in Montreal, which was hired to complete the delivery to Ontario. However, the shipment of over 100 palettes never reached its destination.

Transport Q-Trans reported the theft to police on Wednesday. Authorities have since launched an investigation into the second company's role in the incident. As part of their efforts, Montreal police are meticulously reviewing security camera footage in hopes of gathering clues regarding the whereabouts of the stolen goods.

Despite these efforts, no arrests have been made and the missing olive oil remains unaccounted for. The case has sparked concern within the transportation industry due to the significant value of the stolen product and the potential breach of trust between transport companies.
