His career spans roles at Yelp, where he optimized ad revenue systems, and Affirm, a leader in the buy now, pay later industry, where he became a key player following its IPO in 2021.

Gupta's journey began with a solid academic foundation. He earned a bachelor's degree from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka in India, where he graduated as a gold medalist. Following this achievement, he pursued a master's degree in computational data science at Carnegie Mellon University. His belief in the power of collaboration and technology's transformative potential fueled his drive to make impactful contributions across various sectors.

At Yelp, Gupta honed his skills in optimizing ad revenue systems, gaining invaluable experience in balancing innovation with execution. As he reflected on this experience, he noted the importance of scaling algorithms effectively in dynamic environments.

Leading a team, he developed models optimizing loan repayment terms and interest rates, enhancing Affirm's financial offerings. His work proved instrumental in ensuring that the company maintained its competitive edge in the rapidly evolving financial technology landscape.

Beyond his corporate achievements, Gupta has also made notable contributions to social causes. In India, he led the development of assistive technologies for visually impaired students. These tools were deployed in blind schools, earning him recognition in national media outlets for his commitment to leveraging technology for societal good.
