ICC Champions Trophy 2025: A Clash of Titans Awaits

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 promises to be a thrilling cricket spectacle, scheduled to unfold over 19 days from February 19 to March 9. This prestigious tournament will see the world's top eight men's cricket teams compete fiercely for the title. Split into two groups, the teams will vie for supremacy in a round-robin format before advancing to a knockout stage.

Group A comprises Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, while Group B features Afghanistan, Australia, England, and South Africa. Each team will earn two points for a win, one for a tie or "no result," and none for a loss. The two top-performing teams from each group will secure a place in the semifinals, set for March 4 and 5.

In an exciting twist, should India reach the final, the match will relocate from Lahore to Dubai, ensuring a neutral venue. Pakistan, hosting nine of the 15 games, marks its first ICC event since the 50-over World Cup in 1996. The remaining matches will take place at four venues: Dubai International Cricket Stadium, National Stadium in Karachi, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, and Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Notably, all of India’s fixtures will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The Champions Trophy will transition to a knockout format following the group stage. The tournament’s climax is set for March 9, with each match adding to the anticipation and excitement of this global cricketing event. Pakistan enters as the reigning champions, having won the last ICC Champions Trophy.
