Gisele Bündchen, the super model and eco-entrepreneur, celebrated Mother’s Day this go-round. She posted a moving Instagram post with her three kids—including new baby son. The 44-year-old marked the milestone with an emotional post. She looked back on her own experience as a young mother and honored her own mother, Vania Nonnenmacher, who died earlier this year.
In the Instagram post, Bündchen shared a photo of her youngest child, wrapped in “I ❤️ Mom” pajamas, alongside her other children, Benjamin and Vivian. Benjamin, our art child, is 15 years old! His sister, Vivian, 12, who hails from their mother’s first marriage to NFL QB legend Tom Brady. The now-divorced couple, who were married from 2009 until their 2022 divorce, co-parent their two older children — aged 9 and 12 — in concert.
Bündchen’s welcoming of her newborn son earlier this year, with her boyfriend Joaquim Valente, a jiujitsu instructor, was an exclusive. The couple has maintained a private relationship, but Bündchen’s love for her children remains evident in her social media posts and public appearances.
After reflecting on what Mother’s Day means to her, Bündchen wrote that she feels conflicted on the special day. In honor of her late mother, she posted a truly beautiful message.
“Today, on Mother’s Day, I specially miss my mom, but my heart is full,” – Gisele Bündchen
Bündchen has repeatedly said that motherhood is her biggest blessing. It’s easy to see her commitment to her children, as she shows herself maneuvering between the personal and professional realms. In a recent Instagram post, she recognized the difficulty of getting to share what’s magic in public while protecting the enchantment of preservation’s private communion.
“I’ve been quiet over here but very busy living life..Sometimes, the most beautiful moments aren’t shared — they‘re simply lived,” – Gisele Bündchen
As she handles her evolving role as a mom and new dynamic as a co-parent to Brady, Bündchen remains an inspiration for strength and poise. Her new recent ode to Mother’s Day simply illustrates the respect, protection, and power that bloodline provides. This delight continues in spite of the loss and upheaval of all that is personal.
