Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, recently thrilled followers when she took to Instagram to share a festive snapshot of her family. On December 19, we got a very merry surprise when Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, debuted an adorable new family portrait. The family is happily enjoying the holiday season with their two–almost–meet Archie and Lilibet.
>In the image, six-year-old Archie hugs his papa, with four-year-old Lilibet clutching the hand of her mama. The four children and their parents smile at us from a footbridge near their home, radiating the strength of their beautiful connection. Meghan captioned the post with a warm holiday greeting: “Happy Holidays! From our family to yours.”
Meghan and Harry left their senior royal duties behind in 2020. Since then, they all have put down roots in California with their own children now. They wed in 2018. Since then, they’ve focused on raising their family and doing nonprofit work through the Archewell Foundation.
The Archewell Foundation they founded, recently dropped a year-end video including Archie and Lilibet. This new initiative is a strong demonstration of their commitment to philanthropy and community support.
“On behalf of the Office of Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and Archewell, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year,” – Archewell Foundation.
Meghan’s Christmas photo is an “authentic” shot of family happiness. It emphasizes the creative lengths that the couple is going to in order to engage with their audience this holiday season. As they embrace their new life in California, they continue to share glimpses into their family life while promoting charitable causes.
