Disney Plus has rolled out a highly-requested feature that lets you finally remove something from your “Continue Watching” list without any fuss. With this new feature, now available on web browsers and iOS platforms, you have greater control over your viewing habits. Now through Nov. 19, Disney is focused on inspiring creativity and imagination. This latest improvement firmly cements its place as the best streaming platform in the world.
Enhanced Control for Apple TV Users
Apple TV owners now have some added flexibility with not one, but two different ways to remove titles from your “Continue Watching” list. One opportunity is available right on the Disney Plus app’s homepage. Users can just tap to select the show they want to bid on. To choose it, they just long-press the big circular button in the middle of the remote. This more intuitive option allows you to easily control how you want to view everything!
The implementation of this feature proves that Disney is dedicated to creating an accessible, enjoyable user experience. Through reducing the onboarding process down to just a few steps, the platform seeks to create a smooth transition experience for its subscribers.
Expansion Plans for Other Platforms
Disney has confirmed its subscribers on the platforms including those subscribed through Android OS, Android TV and LG’s webOS. We look forward to giving all of them access to this exciting feature in future releases. This commitment highlights Disney's dedication to offering uniform features across all devices and ensuring that all users benefit from recent advancements.
On mobile devices like iPhones and iPads, it’s much easier for users to delete shows. Just click on the three-dot menu, click “Remove”, and click confirm removal to save your changes. This feature's availability across multiple devices underscores Disney's emphasis on cross-platform functionality.
A Leading Streaming Platform
Disney Plus is never done optimizing and testing improvements on their service. Disney Plus feels low-cost and full of great surprises. Additionally, by working together with Hulu and Max, it provides subscribers with access to three major platforms for the price of one! This calculated collaboration brings richer content diversity which creates user value.
This past week, Disney Plus followed suit, rolling out platform-wide password-sharing restrictions. Disney is making this move out of desperation as it seeks to safeguard its content. Its mission is to provide for an equitable allocation of public resources among its subscribing members.
