Horton, who also starred alongside Samuel L. Jackson in Apple TV+'s "The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey," is unable to engage in physical workouts during his recuperation. However, he remains optimistic about bouncing back stronger. His connection with Jackson, whom he affectionately refers to using the nickname "Tuff Stuff," has been significant. "We talked about Shakespeare, we talked about God, we talked about love, making mistakes and stuff like that but it was a really, really humbling experience for me." – Horton

"But I'm Blessed dawg to not be in a casket or paralyzed," – Horton

"Lord Thank You. I'm out the hospital now healing. I got a plate n screws in my mf arm, so I can't workout for a minute which I'm mad about BUT it coulda been worse!" – Horton
