After professional motocross rider Carey Hart suffered a dire intestinal injury during practice the other day. He’s perhaps equally as known as the husband of singer Pink. The crash took place on Thursday morning after Hart had a very unfortunate “nasty get off.” The injuries from that accident took 20 staples to seal a fresh scar that runs from Treadwell’s ribs to his bellybutton.
Hart, 49, went on Instagram to post photos of his injury, which showed a significant number of large bandages on his stomach. No matter how serious the injury, he told what have to be terrified followers, that he was “all good and will be alright from this.”
Pink, whose real name is Alecia Moore, is out on tour but she’s been dealing with her own health concerns. The 45-year-old singer recently had to cancel an upcoming concert in Bern, Switzerland this past July. She did come back, including an appearance at BST Hyde Park in 2023. At the same time, despite the demands of her own career, she has been at her husband’s side helping him heal and recover.
The pair, who have been together for almost 20 years since meeting at the 2001 X Games in Philadelphia, continued full speed ahead. They married in Costa Rica in 2006 and are proud parents to two children: Willow, 13, and Jameson, 8. Hart thanked Pink for being there for him during hard days, saying, “
“As always does in these situations w/ me, she steps up and takes charge at the hospital. Sorry to put you through this, yet again.”
This romantic tribute captures the depth of the couple’s love with gorgeous imagery and astounding grace, seemingly earned through a lifetime spent together.
Hopefully, Hart’s recovery is swift and complete. At the same time, he and Pink explore some intrinsic challenges to family life and attempting to balance it all with demanding professional lives. Yet through the darkness, their resilience and dedication to each other shine through as they tackle these massive challenges together.
“For over 20 years we’ve traveled the world, made a family, and created amazing memories & life together. Not bad for a couple kids who weren’t expected to amount to anything. You are like a fine wine, and I love you.”
As Hart recovers from his injury, both he and Pink continue to navigate the complexities of family life and professional commitments. Their resilience and dedication to each other remain evident as they face these challenges together.
