It is understood this latest stabbing victim was set upon on a moving train from Doncaster to London King’s Cross on Friday, 1st November. Emergency services were extremely quick, they arrived just after 7 pm. Authorities said ten people were injured when the walkway crumbled, with one person still in a life-threatening condition. Police sought to calm fears of a possible terrorist attack, saying there was no evidence that the attack was linked to terrorism.

Two arrests were made at the activist encampment, though at least one suspect has since been released without further action. While the investigation is ongoing, the local communities are still reeling from this horrible act of violence.

The most serious threat is hurricane Melissa, which is still wreaking havoc in Jamaica as of this writing. This category five hurricane is bringing with it winds of 185 mph. The devastation from the hurricane was catastrophic with landslide, flooding, and ongoing power outages stretching from Puerto Rico to Louisiana. Tragically, at least 28 deaths have been confirmed as a direct consequence of the storm’s approach.
Local authorities and international aid agencies have quickly mobilized and are working to coordinate relief efforts for those affected. Emergency shelters are already helping to provide relief to millions of those families forced to flee. They provide urgent shelter and critical care in these early days of the crisis.
Prince William has committed to personally donating towards the relief efforts in Jamaica, underscoring his dedication to helping those in need.
