Virginia Giuffre Reveals Disturbing Allegations Against Prince Andrew in New Memoir

Virginia Giuffre, an outspoken advocate against human trafficking, has released her memoir titled “Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir Of Surviving Abuse And Fighting For Justice,” exposing her traumatic experiences involving Prince Andrew and the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. The memoir provides a deeply frightening record of her life that begins at age 17. In the process she was exploited, sexually and otherwise by the same powerful men.

Giuffre vividly recounts how she found herself trapped in Epstein’s spiderweb after being employed as a masseuse. From this position, she was tasked with being flown around the globe for meetings on Epstein’s behalf. She began as a spa attendant at Mar-a-Lago, the Palm Beach club owned by former President Donald Trump. It was there that she was able to first make contact with Epstein. Ghislaine Maxwell, a close associate of Epstein, approached her in 2000 with promises that would alter the course of her life.

Allegations Against Prince Andrew

Giuffre claims she was trafficked by Epstein and Maxwell and was made to have sexual relations with Prince Andrew on three distinct occasions against her will. In March 2001, Giuffre would meet her future employer, Prince Andrew, for the first time. This introduction took place against the backdrop of her visiting Maxwell’s home in London. She remembers the first time she woke up to Maxwell’s sunny, original, cheerful, sing-song voice saying, “Get out of bed, sleepyhead!” Then, she was immediately flown off to meet her intended prince.

On one instance, Giuffre asserts that Prince Andrew assaulted her sexually in New York. This claim was made, incredibly, less than a month after the law went into effect. The last claimed meeting took place on Epstein’s private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands. At the time, she was about 18 years old. While Giuffre’s allegations have circulated for years, Prince Andrew has repeatedly denied having done anything wrong.

“I can absolutely categorically tell you it never happened. I have no recollection of ever meeting this lady, none whatsoever.” – Prince Andrew

Giuffre responded to the allegations and civil lawsuit with a retaliatory action. Prince Andrew ultimately agreed to pay her a settlement of more than $12 million. She omitted the full amount from her memoir. Still, she suggested that all the news we’ve been hearing suggests Queen Elizabeth II picked up the tab.

Life After Settlement

Since her settlement with Prince Andrew, Giuffre has dedicated herself to her mission of stopping human trafficking. Since then, she has traveled the country and launched her foundation, Speak Out, Act, Reclaim (Soar). IMPACT’s mission is to assist organizations engaged in the prosecution of traffickers, the protection of victims, and the prevention of human trafficking.

“Now that my settlement from Prince Andrew has come through, I have begun the slow process of turning my fledgling foundation, Soar, into a professionally run organization. My goal is for Soar to combat human trafficking by supporting organizations that focus on prosecution, protection, and prevention.” – Virginia Giuffre

Giuffre said she wants to use at least a portion of the money to make positive impacts through her foundation.

“I look forward to disseminating some of the Crown’s money to do some good,” – Virginia Giuffre

In her vividly written memoir, she recalls those instructive memories that have stuck with her. The other focuses on a shopping trip with Maxwell, in which he promised she’d meet a “handsome prince,” as in Cinderella’s fairy tale.

The Broader Context

Giuffre has been shedding new and horrifying light on the abuses of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. In June 2022, Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison for her role in recruiting underage victims for Epstein. As public interest continues to grow regarding the high-profile figures involved in Epstein’s schemes, Giuffre’s memoir serves as both a personal account and a broader commentary on power dynamics and abuse.

Virginia Giuffre was not yet 42 years old when she died in April of this year. Her legacy is profound, inextricably laced with her dogged pursuit of justice for those who prey on society’s most vulnerable. Her memoir, Taking The Streets, chronicles her raw, spiritual odyssey. It seeks to motivate others to get involved in the fight against human trafficking.
