City of Wolverhampton College Offers Free Tyre Checks to the Public

Tyresafe City of Wolverhampton College has introduced a free tyre check service as part of its commitment to helping reduce risk on the roads. This new initiative will continue until 17 October. This new program provides community members with a complimentary vehicle tire check. More importantly, it provides students an opportunity to get hands-on experience putting their skills to use. TyreSafe’s “Under Pressure” campaign is urging the public to better check their vehicles themselves. It gets them into the habit of doing so at least once a month.

Today, City of Wolverhampton College is located in Bilston at its Wellington Road campus. It’s burgeoning too, currently welcoming more than 200 students and covering a full array of automotive subjects on four qualification tiers. The college’s state-of-the-art technology and automotive centre is at the core of this programme. It meanwhile provides a deep bench of trained students who are ready and willing to start a career in the automotive sector.

The students in the tyre check program will be checking community members’ vehicles. First and foremost, they’ll be keeping you safe, but delivering a healthy dose of useful education along the way. This immersive experience equips the public servants that we rely on to keep us safe, healthy and connected. Simultaneously, it increases the hands-on training of students, equipping them with invaluable skill sets for their upcoming professional careers.

TyreSafe’s Tyre Safety Month campaign encourages the public to make checking their tyres a part of their regular routine. The college points out that having under-inflated or damaged tyres can greatly compromise vehicle safety and fuel savings. City of Wolverhampton College provides free tyre checks to encourage drivers to look after their tyres. They work hard to promote good vehicle stewardship in their community.

It may be the program most likely to generate widespread interest from local constituents. They will receive professional evaluations from future automotive pros. The college is urging UK artists, creatives, and innovators to make the most of this support before the programme ends on 17 October.
