At only 21 years old, the young princess has been taking her place in the political spotlight alongside other young European royals. Here’s how she gets all eyes on her with her incredible style.

At a star-studded gala dinner in honour of Luxembourg’s new Grand Duke and Grand Duchess, Princess Catharina-Amalia was the one doing just that. It does have a significant drawback – its price tag of around $10,258 USD (approximately £7,600). This ensemble was really a reflection of her practice and her fundamentally fashion-forward sensibilities. It showcased her gift for injecting glamour into royal appearances.

So far, onlookers have been pretty taken with Princess Catharina-Amalia’s sartorial innovation. She’s evidently inherited her mother’s panache, making her all the more a young royal to watch.

On the gala red carpet, she wore the showstopping gold ballgown with equally dazzling silver metallic leather Aquazzura heels. To finish her gown off, she decked herself out in meaningful jewelry. She wore dazzling emerald and diamond drop earrings that used to belong to Queen Maxima. On the evening of her marriage, she wore an emerald brooch presented by Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands and the diamond tiara once worn by Queen Emma. These elaborate creations not only completed her royal look, but grounded Alexandra in her family’s deep royal tradition.

The tour to the United States was not all about parties. Princess Catharina-Amalia and Queen Maxima visiting with the International Finance Corporation in Washington, DC. Queen Maxima of the Netherlands is the United Nations Secretary General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development. It is an unprecedented opportunity for her to continue to lead on making financial health a global priority.

Even more onlookers complimented the young princess for her sophisticated, stylish flair! One commenter noted, “Showstopper!! She looks incredible. Amazing gown, perfect colour, and the jewels!! The Dutch do it best with the jewels for real and I love that Maxima shares so well.”

Another observer remarked on the fashion choices of young royals, stating, “Amalia and Elisabeth are only in their early 20s, but their hair, makeup, jewels and dress choices are fire.”
