Bad Bunny recently been confirmed to perform in the Apple Music Halftime Show at Super Bowl LX–2026. Of course, we’re talking about Super Bowl 50, taking place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. Home to the San Francisco 49ers, it’s located in Santa Clara, CA. With Super Bowl LX approaching, there will soon have been 60 renditions of this iconic sporting event.
The announcement follows the curtain down on Bad Bunny’s own successful Puerto Rico residency, at San Juan’s Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, which wrapped on September 21. Over the course of 30 shows, the artist captivated audiences at San Juan’s historic El Choli arena. This residency coincided with the release of Bad Bunny’s sixth studio album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana, which dropped on January 5. This album is a beautiful musical love letter to Puerto Rico. It has achieved historic and critical acclaim and solidified Bad Bunny as one of the top stars in all of music.
Having Bad Bunny make that decision was a huge step, in keeping with the Super Bowl’s (growing) track record of great selections and big swings. Jay-Z’s entertainment company, Roc Nation, has full control over the production of the halftime show. They have been integral in helping decide who the yearly featured artist will be as well. Jay-Z takes the helm, ensuring fans an unforgettable experience. They’ll be treated to Bad Bunny’s unique mix of reggaeton and Latin trap.
In 2024, Usher headlined the Super Bowl halftime show at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, performing some of his greatest hits, including “O.M.G.” and “U Got It Bad.” His record-shattering performance raised the bar for future headliners, and Bad Bunny’s upcoming performance promises to meet that level of anticipation.
The precise date for Super Bowl LX is yet to be determined. Fans can look forward to an incredible display of talent! With Bad Bunny taking the stage, it’s setting up to be a fun, energetic halftime show. Get ready for a dazzling display of culture and creativity!
