Krispy Kreme has come up with a new, limited-edition collection inspired by one of those franchises, the ever-popular, ever-wizarding Harry Potter collection. Available starting August 18, the “Harry Potter: Houses of Hogwarts” collection features an array of themed treats that celebrate the four iconic houses of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This exciting partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery allows fans to indulge in unique flavors and designs that reflect their favorite house.
Released in the collection are individual doughnuts and custom-designed dozen boxes which are available for pickup or delivery at participating Krispy Kreme doors. Or, for an easier-to-carry option, pick up the new Harry Potter-themed six-pack box. Simply visit Krispy Kreme’s website to find specific retailer locations that deliver.
Among those offerings is the featured, one-of-a-kind Sorting Hat Doughnut that includes a mystery-colored Kreme filling. This merchandising-inspired, all-pink doughnut would make an excellent whimsical nod to the Sorting Hat. It decides which Hogwarts house each student will belong to! Each of the four house-themed doughnuts is meant to reflect one of Hogwarts’ proud and noble houses.
The Gryffindor Doughnut, shaped using an artisan-style unglazed shell, is filled with cookie butter-flavored Kreme. The red icing covered sweet is set off with a tasty Biscoff cookie crumble. It’s topped with golden icing drizzles and boasts the beloved Gryffindor crest atop. This sprinkles doughnut pretty much embodies the bravery and daring that every fan knows is the hallmark of house Gryffindor!
The Slytherin Doughnut looks like a total indulgence – it’s an Original Glazed doughnut decorated with rich chocolate icing and sweet green buttercreme swirls. It’s made with a super tasty chocolate cookie sugar mix. The Slytherin crest just right completes the look, representing the classic ambition and cunning going on from the house just right.
