On Sunday morning, a Delta Air Lines aircraft inadvertently struck another plane as it was being pushed back from the gate. This near miss took place at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The incident, which took place at 3:16 PM on August 10, 2025, involved a commercial flight scheduled to travel from Atlanta to Guatemala City. Delta Air Lines acknowledged the event only minutes after it happened.

The aircraft at issue had a passenger capacity of 192 and was served by a crew of two pilots and four flight attendants.
