Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands has been completing a three-year Bachelor in Politics, Psychologie, Recht en Economie (PPLE). She is completing her dissertation. As such, it explores the contradictions between fundamental rights as guaranteed in Europe and upcoming EU legislation on artificial intelligence, for her LLM dissertation. This study is a testament to her dedication to grappling with complex issues at the intersection of law and emerging technologies.

A Family Retreat in Krandini
After her graduation, Princess Catharina-Amalia is taking a deserved holiday in Greece on her own, without the family. She’s on leave and apparently having a blast relaxing with her pals at a beautiful marina. The royal family owns a wonderful vacation residence in Krandini, which they bought in 2012 for €4.5 million. This estate offers the family an intensive respite from work and public service to decompress and recenter.
