Crew members showed outstanding skills, communication and teamwork while rescuing those trapped.
Witnesses on board the Disney Dream helped to corroborate the extraordinary events that took place. She fell from the ship’s fourth floor deck. During a swim, her father made a courageous leap into the water after his daughter to save her. One passenger recounted the scene in a social media group dedicated to Disney cruises, stating, “from the fourth deck and her dad went in after her — Thankfully the DCL rescue team was on it immediately and both were saved!”
