Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness have settled their divorce, officially ending the almost 30-year long relationship. The couple is seen here during their 27th wedding anniversary celebration earlier this year. The two fell in love after first meeting on the set of the Australian TV series “Corelli” in 1995. They married in April 1996 and have two children together: Oscar Maximilian Jackman and Ava Eliot Jackman.
The pair revealed their split in September 2023, explaining that they needed to prioritize individual development. As they explained in a recent joint statement, their journey is moving in a different direction now. They repeated their desire to make family the first priority during this transition. The letter expressed their joint commitment to entering their respective next chapters “with gratitude, love, and kindness.”
Deborra-Lee Furness surprised onlookers by filing for divorce. This announcement arrived just weeks after the couple made their red carpet debut at the “Ghosted” premiere in New York City. The divorce was granted on June 3.
