This awesome repository of creativity, innovation and knowledge opened its doors on May 31. She admired various objects stored within the facility, including riding habits and a striking black and gold coat dress by Alexander McQueen. Her wishlist included a diverse array of goods (some of which you might not expect). It featured a huge William Morris samples book and rolls of embroidered fabrics galore, all pointing to her abiding love of art and historic architecture.
This V&A East Storehouse is going to be so eclectic It was lovely to hear Princess Kate talking about the diverse collections housed there. As the patron of the V&A, she expressed enthusiasm for the institution’s efforts to make its collections more accessible to the public.
