Lindsay Lohan is set to star in the upcoming Hulu original series “Count My Lies.” In addition to her acting duties, she is making her debut as an executive producer on this adaptation of Sophie Stava’s 2025 novel. In this highly anticipated adaptation, Lohan will portray Sloane Caraway, a character whose life takes unexpected turns as a compulsive liar.
Ever since its release, the book has been an overnight success. Selected as a “GMA” Book Club pick, it was released by Scout Press, an imprint of Simon & Schuster. The narrative centers on Sloane, a 20-something who makes up elaborate fictions to avoid her boring life. She eventually finds work as a nanny for the beautiful, glamorous Violet Lockhart and her sexy husband Jay. It definitely sounds like she’s found her dream job! Sloane quickly learns that in the Lockhart home, secrets have the power to destroy—often with fatal consequences.
Hulu is now in the works on “Count My Lies.” 20th Television and The Walk-Up Company are currently in active production. Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger are the series’ writers and executive producers. Scott Morgan comes on board as an executive producer with them.
