Princess Eugenie Celebrates Mother’s Day with Heartfelt Instagram Post

Princess Eugenie celebrated Mother’s Day with a sweet, behind-the-scenes Instagram photo that provides insight into one of the royal family’s most close-knit families. The newly minted Princess of Wales shares two sons with her husband Jack Brooksbank, August and Ernest. In addition to recycling outfits, she surprised fans with personal family photos. One photo — of Eugenie reading to her sons on the floor — stole the show. This charming exchange provided a wonderful insight into her personal life.

Eugenie’s post was a welcome surprise for her fans, who flooded her comments with well-wishes for Mother’s Day. The original Instagram post featured an unfiltered photograph of her with her kids. It featured a hand-drawn card from her children, Ernie and August, as well as a throwback black and white of her mother, Sarah Ferguson.

“Happy Mother’s Day from this proud mama and daughter,” – Princess Eugenie

Eugenie has been an outspoken advocate about how becoming a mother has transformed her life. Shortly before welcoming her youngest son, Ernest, she opened up with HELLO! magazine. Becoming a mom to August played a huge part in pushing her to pursue bigger aspirations. She wants her advocacy to set an example for her son, August. This is why she needs him to follow through and bring them into the future.

Eugenie represents a deep love for family and tradition. Being a mother has prompted Smith to assume fuller responsibility for her younger sister Beatrice, coming to her aid during difficult times. Following the premature arrival of Beatrice’s daughter Athena, Eugenie assisted in London and was present for Beatrice’s first photoshoot with British Vogue since becoming a mother. Beatrice expressed gratitude, noting that although Athena was initially “so tiny it took more than a few weeks for the tears of relief to dry,” she is now “doing really well.”

Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank currently spend most of their time between the UK and Portugal. They juggle the demands of family life while relishing the international lifestyle. March will be a particularly momentous month for Eugenie. It includes Mother’s Day and her birthday, which is March 23rd—to the day.
