Happy Days Cast Reunites at Steel City Con

The popular cast members from the long-running television show “Happy Days” joined together to celebrate happy days and inspire a chance. They met up at the Steel City Con, just outside of Pittsburgh. The reunion brought together some major cast members, including Ron Howard, Henry Winkler, Don Most, and Anson Williams. They reminisced on their favorite moments from the popular series, which spanned 11 seasons from 1974 to 1983.

This “Happy Days” focused on the day-to-day realities of a community of Black teens as they maneuvered through blossoming adulthood in 1970s and 80s Brooklyn. The series, which perfectly balanced heartwarming humor and memorable characters, has gone on to touch audiences even further with its continued success in syndication to this day. 2019 brought the whole cast back together for a gala celebration in Los Angeles. With photographs and jubilant faces, they marked their continued popularity.

At the most recent Steel City Con, Richie Cunningham himself, Ron Howard, spoke to the raucous crowd. He shared his excitement of reuniting with past co-stars and fans as well.

“It feels like it’s been 50 minutes, because we’re having so much fun hanging and this was sort of our great excuse to come together, so thank you. And by the way, it’s just been amazing.” – Ron Howard

Henry Winkler—known widely for the role of Arthur “The Fonz” Fonzarelli—was not only excited to take the stage. He then introduced his fellow members of the cast to the pumped-up audience. He discussed his enthusiasm and interest in participating at the event, as well as appreciation for the really welcoming reception they got.

“We are very happy to be here in Pittsburgh.” – Henry Winkler

Winkler noted the significance of the reunion, stating, “This is the first time that we have appeared this way in 50 years.” His sentiment definitely was echoed by fans who have loved the series for over 30 years.

Don Most, who played Ralph Malph, and Anson Williams as Potsie Weber, joined their co-stars in celebrating the legacy of “Happy Days.” An exciting buzz filled the air as the dynamic cast played around with one another, reliving happy moments from shooting and connecting with super fans. The Steel City Con provided a positive experience for both the actors and convention-goers. As fans, they celebrated and relived their favorite moments from the show alongside one another.
