Mariah Carey to Headline Historic Royal Estate Concert

The iconic Norfolk estate, steeped in royal history, will soon host a star-studded lineup as Mariah Carey headlines a spectacular summer concert. The estate, renowned for its royal residence where King Charles III and his family celebrate Christmas, provides the backdrop for this exclusive event on August 15. Joining Carey are musical legends Nile Rodgers & Chic and Eternal, promising an unforgettable musical experience.

The estate's rich history dates back to 1862 when Queen Victoria purchased it for her eldest son, Albert Edward. It became the countryside home of King Edward VII and Princess Alexandra. King George VI, father to the late Queen Elizabeth II, had a particular fondness for the estate, spending significant time there until his death on February 6, 1952. Queen Elizabeth II continued the tradition, spending winters at the estate from Christmas until her accession anniversary. Following her passing in September 2022, the estate was inherited by her son, King Charles III.

The upcoming concert marks another chapter in the estate's illustrious history. The Heritage Live concerts in 2023 were a sell-out success, featuring performances by Robbie Williams, The Who, and Van Morrison. This summer, the estate will again welcome headline acts for a grand musical celebration.

Ahead of her performance at Sandringham, Carey will also grace the stage at the Brighton Pride Festival on August 2. Her presence at these events underscores her enduring appeal and influence in the music industry.
