Royals Embrace Tropical Escape: The Wales Family’s Caribbean Getaway

The Prince and Princess of Wales recently embarked on a serene family holiday to the Caribbean, accompanied by the Princess's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton. The family chose the idyllic island of Mustique for their retreat, renowned for its exclusivity and breathtaking natural beauty. Their chosen accommodation was the luxurious Villa Antilles, a stunning four-bedroom property equipped with a 60ft infinity pool and a jacuzzi, owned by William's close friend, Andrew Dunn. This escape marked yet another memorable visit to Mustique for the royal couple.

The journey began with a business class flight on British Airways, landing in Saint Lucia before the group took a private flight to Mustique. The island's strict no-fly zone ensured complete privacy for the family, allowing them to unwind amidst the island's white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters.

"It was great, I wish I could stay longer," – Princess of Wales

The Prince and Princess of Wales are no strangers to the Caribbean charm. In 2019, they stayed on Mustique, renting a £27,000-a-week luxury villa where Prince George celebrated his sixth birthday. Their love for the region was further evident in 2022 when they visited the Bahamas during their Caribbean royal tour, staying in a £19k-per-night accommodation on Atlantis Paradise Island.

This recent visit to Mustique reflects the couple's enduring affinity for Caribbean escapes, offering them both relaxation and privacy away from public scrutiny. The island's secluded atmosphere and picturesque landscape provide an ideal setting for the royal family to create cherished memories.

"We were tempted by the beaches. Amazing scenery. Next time we have to come back with the children." – Princess of Wales
